Simple Pink and Green Watermelon Smoothie Recipes for Summer
I love watermelon smoothies in summer. Not only are they really refreshing and hydrating on hot summer days, they are also in season so are packed with nutrients.
In the video Ashley and her adorable daughter Avery shows us how she makes the green version of this smoothie. At the end Avery choose which is her favorite. Which one do you think Avery will choose? The pink or green watermelon smoothie?
Green Watermelon Smoothie Recipe
3/4 cup of almond milk, soy milk, rice milk or dairy if you prefer.
Drop of vanilla essence.
1 cup of baby spinach.
1 1/2 cup of frozen watermelon.
The pink watermelon smoothie recipe is exactly the same minus the spinach.
These smoothies are quite thick. If you would like a more runny smoothie use 1/2 frozen and half fresh watermelon. Add some water or wait for the frozen watermelon in your pink or green watermelon smoothies to melt.
