Sonia’s Favorite Green Smoothie Recipe

  • Generous portion of dark leafy greens like kale or baby spinach
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 14 whole almonds
  • 1 scoop of vegan vanilla protein powder
  • 2 table spoons of plain creamy full fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of water
  • A few ice cubes

Why I like this Recipe

I love this recipe because it tastes heavenly. It is low in sugar and if you want to make it even lower in sugar you can replace the banana with berries.

It is filled with protein from the almonds, protein powder and yogurt and cinnamon is excellent to stabilize blood sugar.

Obviously I love all blends that are packed with green leafy vegetables. 🙂

This is a really filling breakfast that will keep your satisfied and full of energy until lunch.
